Lifelines First
Lifelines "Answered Prayers"
A new program, Answered Prayers, has been started by Lifelines Ministry. The purpose is for First Lutheran to see how
active our Lord is in answering our prayers. When you have received an answer to your prayer, you are invited to place a penny in the glass container located in the Fellowship Room. At the end of this year, the Sunday school children will guess
the number of Answered Prayers pennies and the closest will receive a prize. The actual money will be donated to the Geneseo Food Pantry. Let’s keep track of what God does for us and help people in need at the same time.
Prayer is an integral part of spirituality and faith at First Lutheran Church. It is the vertical path that takes
us directly to our Lord and Savior. Our Lifelines prayer ministry will be lifting up in prayer our pastors and their families, our staff, our ministries, our congregation, Lifelines prayer list and any special concerns that our congregation may have. We will gather every fourth Monday from 7-7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary to pray for special concerns. This will be an open gathering, and everyone is welcome to join us.
If there are private concerns that you might be hesitant about, Pastor Arthur will be available.
